Mistletoe Christmas Tree Farm is a great spot for family photos! Sure, they have Christmas trees, but they also have a pond and a wooden fence, and lots of little spots for photos. A Christmas tree farm session doesn’t necessarily have to mean you take all your photos with Christmas trees! We focused on finding all the fall backgrounds. When you search for a photo location, always look for one that offers a lot of variety with not a lot of walking. Especially when there are little kids involved, or even outfit changes. It sounds silly, but some of my favorite photo locations revolve around parking lots. One of the really wonderful things about Mistletoe is that there’s parking, you get the place to yourself (because you sign up and pay for a time), and all the options are right there!
I love photographing toddlers with their little siblings. You never know how things are going to go! This big sister couldn’t get enough of hugging and kissing her baby sister. You may remember them from two earlier sessions, a Fresh 48 and an at-home newborn session. It is always such an honor to photograph the same families over and over again. Makes my heart so happy! We’ve made this an annual Christmas tree farm session. Every year is a little different.
