I love when families surprise me with new locations! Before this fall Endicott Park family session, I had never been to Endicott Park in Danvers. We lucked out with a gorgeous day, and of course, we had these two adorable little girls. Mom wanted to make sure we captured a beautiful photo of the two of them for a holiday card, but we also captured some really sweet photos of the two of them connecting. You can just see how much the little one loves her big sister. Look at the way she gazes up at her in a couple of these photos. As the parent of an only child, I can only imagine it is exactly how you’d want your youngest to look up to your oldest!
I had the pleasure of photographing both of these little girls when they were first born, at their Fresh 48 sessions, but I’ve been photographing their mom nearly my whole life. She’s one of my oldest and dearest friends, so she pops up often in my childhood photos. Then when I actually became a photographer, she became my muse. A willing participant when I needed a model to practice on or when I had an idea and needed to experiment. We have a lifetime of photos together and it makes my heart so happy that we are continuing that tradition with our own children! My little guy may have even joined us for some of this Endicott Park family session. There’s a really cool playground and that’s hard to resist!
