Vanessa and John got married this past August (Yikes! I’m that far behind in my blogging!) and they had an amazing celebration! Of course, I would expect nothing less from such an amazing couple. I had so much fun hanging out with them for their engagement session, I knew their wedding day would be fun. They are the kind of couple who likes to kick back with some good food and a glass of wine on a back porch while the sun sets. Perfection. And any bride that can fall over in her wedding dress and just keep on laughing is my kind of bride (pictures below!).
The wedding ceremony was held at St. Spyridon’s in Worcester. What a gorgeous church! Greek Orthodox weddings are so beautiful to photograph with all of the different ceremonies – the crowns, the cups, the rings. For the reception, the bride and groom partied it up with friends and family at the Publick House in Sturbridge. There was a gorgeous tent set up outside to take the best advantage of the summer day and the night’s music was provided by the band One Step Ahead, as well as a DJ who intermittently played Greek music throughout the night. As you can imagine, it all made for some great photos!
Vanessa and John, we truly had an amazing time photographing your wedding! Thanks for inviting us along and I hope we continue to bump into each other!
