Pretty much as soon as Tess started college, she wanted dreadlocks. Every mother’s dream come true. Then my brother got engaged and dreadlocks were put on the back burner. They were a deal breaker for a bridesmaid. So, as soon as the wedding ended (literally the next day), Tess started working that hair. When she came home for the holidays, it was long and fun and beautiful and multi-colored. The Mr. thought it was the perfect hair for a photo shoot. He had a vision. He wanted to incorporate Tessa’s dreads into the branches of the tree in my parents’ backyard and make her look like she was part of nature. So, we got Tessa on board and turned her into a woodland nymph! And yes, I know she’s absolutely gorgeous. And hardy – she braved the freezing temperatures and the slippery mud so we could get some photos of her! These are my favorites…
And, just because I want to prove Tessa isn’t all gorgeousness, here’s a goofy photo of her with her hair spread out like rays of sun.
