This lucky little girl was welcomed into the world by not just her loving parents, but two loving siblings, too! I have had the opportunity to photograph this family many times over the years and it always makes me happy to have a reason to go back! Especially one as precious as this! She was only eleven days old when these photos were taken, but I kid you not, she was SMILING! Full on smiling. Not just your typical “gas smile.” Another big milestone: her umbilical cord fell off during the shoot. Remember that scene in Sex & the City when Brady’s cord falls off and Miranda has to keep the cat from getting it? I couldn’t help but think of that (minus the cat). Before we know it, it will be time to go back and visit for holiday photos!

Hand discovery. Or, as I like to call it, practicing her Hamlet. “Alas, poor Yorick.” The Mr. wanted me to photoshop a skull into her hand, but I drew the line there.
