“Miracles Happen.” That’s the phrase sewn onto the lining of Matt’s custom-made Alton Lane tuxedo. It was not that long ago that Matt wasn’t sure he’d be able to walk again, never mind dance at his own wedding. And yet, on March 14, 2015, he married Audra. They walked back down the church aisle together, and then danced the night away at their reception. Every single minute of their wedding was instilled with joy and gratitude and love. In each other, Audra and Matt have a true partner, a loyal teammate, and a best friend. Even though there was rain, and feet of snow on the ground outside, inside the Four Seasons, everything sparkled.
Audra and Matt both got ready at the Four Seasons in downtown Boston, amidst a flurry of activity as their groomsmen and bridesmaids got ready around them. As Audra’s mom and sister helped her into her gorgeous Watters wedding dress, Matt’s groomsmen helped him with his tux. Our bride and groom opted for a First Look, and so, on the grand staircase of the Four Seasons, Audra and Matt saw each other for the first time. The phrase “She took his breath away” is an understatement. With the weather outside being what it was, we took advantage of the hotel. Never underestimate the power of a chandelier, a staircase, a good couch, or even a pretty bathroom! The ceremony at St. Mary-St. Catherine in Charlestown was heartfelt and beautiful! And the rest of the night was a blur of laughing and crying and dancing! This crowd left it all on the dance floor. I think after all of February’s snow, people were bursting at the seams to get out and celebrate!
