Kim and Steve got married right in the middle of Hurricane Irene. On Thursday, I joined them and their families on a cruise in Essex, MA; it was a gorgeous sunny day. By Saturday, the storm had hit land and everyone was running for cover! Oh, New England, how we love your fickle weather! Not even a hurricane could dampen the spirits of this bride and groom, though! Really and truly, I think the hurricane made for this cool sense of camaraderie at the wedding. We were all in this adventure together! By the time the wedding ended on Saturday night, I felt like i had known Kim and Steve (and their family and friends) for eons! It was pretty magical (and not nearly as stalkerish as it sounds). Their wedding took place at the Topsfield Commons in Topsfield, MA. It was so beautiful (and they had a generator, so we weren’t in danger of losing power!). Here are some of my favorites from the day!
