There are moments in a new relationship when you just KNOW the other person is the one for you. It might be the way they look at you or the way they hold your hand walking through the mall. Maybe it’s how well they treat your waiter at dinner or how good they are to your nieces and nephews. For Sky, it was when Madison saved a homeless vet in a wheelchair from oncoming traffic and then wheeled him two miles to the Pine Street Inn and waited until he was checked in for the night. How amazing is that? Madison jokes that he knew Sky was the one when he let him paint their walls blue! So basically, these guys are made for each other. Their love for each other is the kind that radiates outwards and warms everybody up. Spend a few minutes in their company and you feel like you have new best friends.
They chose to get married in their home, surrounded by their families and best friends. And of course, their Italian Greyhound, Warren! I’m not gonna lie, Warren was pretty dolled up for the occasion. He was definitely one of the three most dapper gentlemen there that day! Skyler & Madison’s friend Mallory officiated the ceremony – there were definitely some laughs, some tears and maybe some laughing tears, plus the perfect First Kiss at the end. After their ceremony, they kicked off their marriage with a champagne toast and a little cocktail hour. Since the wedding was so intimate, Sky & Madison were able to chat with everyone – plus we got photos of them with each group of friends!
Keytar Bear, one of their favorite musicians, (to my knowledge) only plays covers, and doesn’t sing, so I couldn’t choose one of his songs for the post title. And since Skyler and Madison didn’t have a first dance, I had to choose a song for them…
