Is there anything sweeter than a brand new baby? I just don’t think so! Meeting this little one in the hospital right after she made her debut was such an honor! Adjusting to life in the world can be rough, but this little family of three easily became a family of four. I loved being there to capture their first family photos. Big Sister was so excited! She just wanted to snuggle and hold the baby, and she was a natural. It’s easy to see the whole family is smitten with their new baby girl!
If you’re not familiar with Fresh 48 sessions, they take place within the first 48 hours of a baby’s arrival, typically at the hospital. They are much more documentary in style, capturing the family as they welcome their new tiny human into the world. Those moments are so fleeting and special that it’s wonderful to be able to capture them. Before I even knew Fresh 48 sessions existed, I photographed this little one’s big sister right after she had been born, and I was thrilled to be invited back this time around. There is something so intimate about being with a family in the hospital. It’s one of the greatest privileges of my job.
