It was the kind of cold day that required me to use the time between arriving in Boston and actually starting the session to buy a sweater. IN MAY. But the cold gave Sarah and Stephan an excuse to snuggle up to each other. And to order a giant alcoholic beverage in a fish bowl in the middle of the day. And then to buy freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. So maybe the cold was a good thing?
I met up with Sarah and Stephan at City Hall Plaza and we wandered around the city a bit, stopping when we saw something that caught our eyes. I loved getting a chance to really see them together and to get to know them more as a couple. Their silliness definitely revealed itself. The two of them laughed. A lot. When we came upon The Landing, it didn’t take much convincing to get them to order a Fish Bowl (“Come on, guys, it’ll warm you up! It’ll look great in photos!”). They admitted to me that they were pretty much up for anything photo-wise when I asked them to lie down on the ground (remember, it was VERY cold out), so really, I blame them. Don’t worry – I didn’t make them suffer alone. I got my own very big straw and joined them for some of the drink. It gave us just the inner warmth we needed to wander down the Greenway a bit for some photos before heading back to Faneuil Hall! I’m already looking forward to photographing their wedding this fall!
