Julie and I have known each other pretty much our entire lives. Our mothers were best friends in college; they even traveled around Europe together. Now Julie and I are photographers together. She has second shot with me on occasion, and me with her. I was so excited when she reached out to me about doing some maternity photos for her. I had only met her husband a couple of times, so it was fun to see the two of them together, taking a little time out to capture this phase of their lives. Because as you all know, pretty soon it’s all going to change! 
Since Julie is also a photographer, I figured she might have some ideas up her sleeve about specific images she wanted me to capture. Well, they’re doing all sorts of construction on her street and so the bright orange “bump” sign has been out on the road. She made sure we took a little walk out so we could use the sign in a couple of shots!
Not much longer now! Can’t wait to meet this little guy.
