Aubrey & Paul met through a mutual friend when Aubrey was back home in Boston from California. They kept in touch and then spent a lot of time together the next time she was home to visit. After a year of doing things long distance, Aubrey hopped in her car and drove cross country straight to Paul’s apartment and they’ve barely been apart since!
These two crazy kids decided to make an entire weekend out of their wedding celebration! Today’s post is focusing on Friday’s extravaganza. The women got ready at The Taj, while the men got ready across the park at the Ames Hotel. A very special thanks to my second shooter Stephen for hanging out with the guys and getting some awesome photos for us! Everyone met up in Boston’s Public Garden. Paul’s dad officiated the wedding, under one of the Garden’s beautiful weeping willow trees. The ceremony was small – not quite an elopement, but was really reserved for immediate family, wedding party, and a few close friends. Everyone just stood and gathered around the couple as they exchanged vows, with the city’s iconic Swan Boats paddling by on the pond behind them. After the ceremony, we had some time for portraits, just as the sun was beginning to set. The whole evening was just magical! And to think it was just the beginning!
Here are some of the awesome people who contributed to Aubrey & Paul’s ceremony:
