Thea and Matt’s wedding last fall was an amazing wedding up in Camden, ME. I was accompanied by my good friend and sometimes partner-in-crime/second shooter, Allana. Along with photographing a beautiful wedding, we got to teach Australians how to make s’mores. We stayed at the Camden Riverhouse Hotel and it was awesome – they had a little fire outside at night with all the ingredients for s’mores and we just sat outside making s’mores and chatting with the other guests. I loved it! I would go back in a heartbeat!
Thea and Matt actually live in Chicago, so their wedding day was the first time we met! That’s not a common occurrence around here, but it happens occasionally when couples live out of town/state. Lucky for me, Thea and Matt were amazing to work with and photograph all day long! Their ceremony was held at St. Thomas’ right in Camden and their reception was at the Camden Yacht Club. The bride and groom took a boat to the reception and were greeted by the groomsmen, all of whom wore captain’s hats. The hats definitely made their way on to different heads over the course of the night!
The bride and groom both got ready (in separate rooms) at the Camden Harbour Inn. Talk about your gorgeous locations!
Whew. That’s a lot of photos. If you made it this far, I thank you from the bottom of my wedding-photography-addicted heart!
