Crane Estate Engagement Session: As Constant As A Northern Star

Remember how it used to be sunny and warmer(er) and there was no snow on the ground? These photos might remind you of that time.

Alyssa originally emailed me about photographing a street sign for her. She wanted to frame the photo and give it to Ryan for Valentine’s Day. The street sign of their first home together. Yes, you can all steal that idea because it’s fantastic. I immediately loved the way she came across in her emails – bubbly, friendly, and so excited I was able to help her out. It was truly an honor that she contacted me again a few months later after Ryan had proposed. By the time we met up at our favorite local restaurant, it felt like we had known each other for years.

We stormed the Crane Estate for their engagement session. I don’t think you could find a more gorgeous location. We had a gorgeous blue-sky day and it served as the perfect background for Alyssa and Ryan. These two are SO. MUCH. FUN. Seriously. We got some great exercise traipsing all over the Estate grounds and I loved that they were up for anything! I highly recommend taking a field trip if you’ve never been. In the meantime, enjoy the photos! Next up, I should probably post their winter wedding!
