Dorothy Pond Engagement Session: You’re My Sweetheart

When a bride tells you she wants to do her engagement session in her parents’ backyard, you just don’t know what to expect. That’s what happened with Ludimilla and John’s session. Little did I know, the “backyard” had much more to offer than the expected green grass and wooden fence. In fact, they didn’t even have a fence! What they DID have was lots of greenery and trees and canoes and a giant pond and a beach and a paddle boat. Honestly, I might start taking couples there and doing guerilla-style engagement sessions when no one’s around. I’m a little late in posting these since Ludimilla and John are actually married now, but hey, a good photo is a good photo! And these two are so kickin’ cute and we had so much fun during their session. Plus, any day I get to wade into a pond and photograph a couple in a paddle boat is pretty much my favorite day. Here are some of my favorite photos from this favorite day.
