When I found out that Charlie had picked out a tie to wear to our session this year, I knew we were going to be in for some great photos. This family is always fun and photogenic. At our very first session, Charlie was just a baby, so we’ve been doing this together for many years now! We always try to schedule our sessions in the fall so we get lots of nice foliage, but we still have the nice weather. And I LOVE the way everyone is color coordinated – not only is everyone wearing bright colors that go well together, but they also look awesome in front of our nature-y backgrounds! And Charlie’s tie was the perfect touch! Here are some of my favorite images of one of my favorite families.
* I chose this song lyric for a couple of reasons. The obvious one is because it mentions autumn, so it’s perfect for a shoot like this! The other is that when Dave & I worked together, Fleetwood Mac had really just come back again with their album The Dance and they were EVERYWHERE (no Fleetwood Mac pun intended). Working at a 70s/80s radio station, we heard them day in and day out. The Mac is Back. And this song was the one they played. Over and over.
