Patrick and Alyssa got married less than a week after Christmas, so the decorations were still on the trees, the stockings were still hung by the chimney, and the magic was still in the air. Although, I can’t attribute *all* of the magic to Christmas. These two are pretty amazing people who bring their own magic wherever they go! Alyssa’s smile lights up a room, and her laugh is infectious. Patrick’s eyes sparkle, and he is just one of the most gracious people I’ve ever met. Together, they make an awesome pair. And never was that more apparent than on their wedding day.
Alyssa got ready at her grandparents’ house, and Patrick got married at the house he and Alyssa share. Even though moms, dads, bridesmaids, and groomsmen circled around, there were still these wonderful intimate moments to capture.
Their ceremony was at St. Kathryn’s church, which was still beautifully decorated from the Christmas holiday. All the pointsettias on the altar made for a breathtaking backdrop to their ceremony.
Alyssa and Patrick partied it up with their guests at Castleton, in Windham, NH. This group loved to dance! There may have even been a little breakdancing going on. I had so much fun photographing this wedding – it was the perfect way to end the year!
