I met this family when two of the kids posed for Halloween costume photos during the Halloween Horribles parade in Winchester. I had a photo booth set-up in Winchester Town Hall where families could stop and show off their costumes. A few weeks later, I met the whole extended family for a fall photo session at Minute Man National Park in Lexington. These kids did such a great job, and it’s not easy to pose for photos when it’s cold outside!
When everyone from grandparents to grandkids show up for photos, I try to capture as many little breakdowns as I can. This family really nailed their clothes, too; they chose a perfect fall color palette and that meant everyone coordinated without being matchy-matchy. Which also made it easier to do different photo combinations. No matter who posed with who, they all looked great in the same photo.
