To put this beautiful winter family session into context, allow me to explain how I’m connected to these three gorgeous, strong, kind girls. In my last post, I mentioned my good friend Jill. She and I met at Portrait Simple, the mall photo studio at the Natick Mall. Jill and I have our own little meet-cute. She walked into the store one evening to ask about getting a job application. I was the one working at the front of the store, so I helped her out. None of that seems strange because I left out the best part. SHE WAS DRESSED AS AN ELF! Turns out, Jill was working as one of Santa’s elves during the holiday season. I can still picture her walking in with her green elf outfit on (complete with a hat and shoes). We’ve been great friends ever since.
Jill’s three daughters are amazing. They are wonderfully unique and full of personality. I love photographing them. Normally, we hold their sessions at their house, but this time around they met me at Minute Man National Park for a winter family session. It was early December, so we lucked out with some mild winter temperatures and the perfect amount of snow. I even convinced Mom to jump in for some photos at the end.
