Minuteman National Park Family Session: A Place in the Clouds

“If your mom were an animal, what would she be?”

“A cheetah!” There was barely any hesitation between question and answer.

“Because she’s so fast?” (Let it be known, in the spirit of full disclosure, that mom and I were in a running club together and she could soundly kick my a** in a race.)

“No! Because of her freckles!” And at that, the whole family burst out laughing. It was a perfect moment in the middle of a larger perfect moment. This family scheduled their session to commemorate the nearly one year they lived in Boston. They knew it was a temporary move, but they still settled in, made friends, and became part of a community. Before they moved, they wanted to be able to take these photos so they could print them up and hang them in their new far-away home.
