This past November, just when things were starting to get all Christmas-y in Boston, I photographed Patrick proposing to Alyssa. We got some amazing photos that evening, but we also knew we wanted to get some not-so-wintry photos of the two of them. Since the proposal was in November, and the wedding is in December, meeting up with them somewhere beachy during the summer seemed like the perfect idea. We had a wonderful time hanging out, and it was really lovely to see the two of them without a ring burning a hole in Patrick’s pocket! Alyssa just lights up a room with her smile – you can just see Patrick’s eyes sparkle when he looks at her. I love when a couple truly loves spending time together. They are fellow Parrotheads, so we always love chatting about Jimmy Buffett! They were going to TWO shows this summer, while I was sitting this tour out. The Mr. sometimes joins me for engagement sessions because he’s a wonderful assistant, and he carries everyone’s stuff, but this season, he also donated some time to my sessions and weddings and took some aerial drone photos! You can see a few of his awesome shots in this post. Alyssa and Patrick, we are so excited to celebrate with you in December! It’s going to be an awesome send-off to 2016!
