Four Seasons Boston Wedding, Audra & Matt: Just the Touch of a Hand

By Meg Belanger

“Miracles Happen.” That’s the phrase sewn onto the lining of Matt’s custom-made Alton Lane tuxedo. It was not that long ago that Matt wasn’t sure he’d be able to walk again, never mind dance at his own wedding. And yet, on March 14, 2015, he married Audra. They walked back down the church aisle together,…

Oakley Country Club Wedding, Molly & Derek: Love Has Arrived

By Meg Belanger

With the Boston skyline in the distance, and the leaves just starting to drift off the trees, Molly & Derek exchanged their wedding vows in front of family and friends at the Oakley Country Club in Watertown. This Lego-loving couple (take a look at their wedding cake!) had been together for nine years, and engaged…

Stonehurst Estate Wedding, Jess & Avi: Meu Amor Não Estamos Sós

By Meg Belanger

Jess and Avi took center stage for their first dance. The whole wedding day leads up to the reception, when you can finally let go and relax and trust that the “scary” part is over. The music starts. I recognize the tune, but not the words. Is this guy singing in English? The answer to…

Pilgrim Monument Wedding, Jenny & Rob: Whichever Road I Choose You’ll Go

By Meg Belanger

The best man stood up and gave a rousing speech about his twin brother that focused on two things: nipple size and the large number of groomsmen in the wedding party. And that’s just the beginning. Technically, I guess that’s the middle, but it seemed like a catchy place to start! Jenny and Rob got…

Photographing Mo and Liz’s wedding was such an awesome experience for me! It was my first time photographing a Hindu wedding ceremony and every little detail was beautiful. By Meg Belanger

Lu and John spent a gorgeous day in August committing their lives to each other, celebrating their love, and partying the night away! They got married at the Ferncroft Country Club in Middleton, MA. Westford Regency Wedding, Rhiannon & Derek: Embraced My Soul

By Meg Belanger

Rhiannon and Derek are totally and utterly in love. Which I love. Of course. Here’s what I can tell you. They started dating in high school and as part of Derek’s wedding gift to Rhiannon, he gave her the first Valentine’s Day card she ever gave to him. Did you follow that? She, of course,…

A Tavola Wedding, Robin & Derek: Fill the World With Silly Love Songs

By Meg Belanger

When Robin first reached out to me about photographing her and Derek’s wedding, I absolutely fell in love with everything about it immediately. It combined two of my favorite things – weddings and food. And, to add a third awesome thing to the mix, it was all happening in my hometown! Score! Robin and Derek…

Boston Public Library Wedding, Steph & Matt: We Will Float Into the Mystic

By Meg Belanger

When I originally heard from Stephanie about her wedding at the Boston Public Library, I melted into a puddle on the floor. Swoon. The BPL is just one of those quintessential Boston venues that every photographer should have the chance to work in at some point. And when her initial inquiry also said “I also read…

Hotel Commonwealth Wedding, Kim & Jeff: You’re All I See

By Meg Belanger

Kim and Jeff are the coolest. Photographing their wedding put a permanent smile on my face because they are so much frickin’ fun to be around. And I’m not the only one who thinks that – they are surrounded, in their lives and on their wedding day, by family and friends who love love love…

“Meg came highly recommended from a friend in Boston. She did a fabulous job shooting our family reunion for our parents' 50th wedding anniversary on the Cape. We are based in California and in North Carolina, but Meg was so easy to work with, from planning to the day of. She immediately put our whole family to ease, so that we had an amazing and really fun photo shoot that spanned three generations. She's flexible and super easy to work, with and her work is second to none! While we loved the shoot itself (it was so fun!), it was when we received the photo gallery that we saw the extent of Meg's talent. The pictures were not only beautiful, but they really captured our personalities. We would highly recommend Meg's work for families but also for babies, children or weddings! She makes the whole thing easy. If you are trying to capture a special time or occasion, don't think twice about working with Meg.”
