Look at me! I’m like a blogging machine (in comparison to my performance during the “high season”)! I’m sure I’ve mentioned before how much I enjoy second shooting weddings. As a second shooter, I’m often responsible for photographing the groom and groomsmen before the ceremony and then covering the rest of the day with the primary photographer. All of the pressure is off and I just get to play! Plus, when I second shoot, I’m working with photographers I absolutely adore and love to hang out with. For Kelly and Dan’s wedding, I was working alongside Kristin Chalmers and we were rocking it out at The Taj Boston. Or, as we in Boston like to call it, “The Old Ritz.” It is an amazing venue, right across from the Public Garden. The reception was held on the roof of the Taj in this gorgeous room, surrounded by the skyline. I got some amazing photos of the city that day. So, here are some of my favorite images from that day!
Hello, shoes! I’m attracted to anything that sparkles and these shoes were AMAZING!
The men! Like our Abbey Road shot? Much like trying to take a photo at the real Abbey Road crosswalk, you take your life into your own hands and you can’t control all the other pedestrians just trying to cross the street!
Kelly and Dan did all their “formal portraits” in the Public Garden. I grabbed a couple of Kelly when she wasn’t paying attention!
This is the kind of photo I get to take as the second shooter:
I’ve got a few other weddings that I second shot and will probably get them up on the blog eventually! In the meantime, I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
