How much do I love that these parents let their son choose his footwear for their family session? Green monster slippers are a-okay with me, especially if they mean we get a smiling little boy! We played outside in the leaves for a little bit before heading inside for some more fun. After tiring ourselves (re: me) out jumping on the bed, we tried out some quieter activities, like drawing. And gluing. There is a LOT of glue keeping those pieces in place! It was so fun to sit and watch these two get creative. When I started out photographing this family, there was only one little boy. Then a little boy and his newborn sister. In our last couple of sessions, they’ve become playmates. Playing with each other, alongside each other, and sometimes, like all siblings, against each other. But I can tell you, as someone who is three and a half decades into being a sibling, it always comes back around to the hugging and smiling and silliness.
