In all my years as a New Englander, I had never been to Yale! In fact, the only time I had been to New Haven was when I first moved back to Boston from LA and needed furniture from IKEA. When Erin & Russ suggested Yale as their engagement session location, I jumped at the chance to explore someplace new (to me). Erin, Russ, and I had spoken on the phone before, but this was actually our first meeting! As it turns out, we share a love of Gilmore Girls and Shake Shack. I’m pretty sure we were meant to be. We had a beautiful fall day to walk around campus and hypothetically sneak into a locked courtyard. Erin & Russ are the couple that makes everyone feel like they’re part of the crowd – you immediately know you’re in good company when you hang out with them.
