A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of attending Inspire Boston, a locally organized and produced photography workshop/conference that pretty much rocked my world. Matt and Enna Grazier of Grazier Photography were the masterminds behind the whole event and they brought in wonderful photographers from New England to speak, mentor, and yes, inspire. It was only two full days, but I am still riding the wave of excitement I felt when I left.
As part of the program, you could choose to participate in a “live shoot.” I actually really enjoy photographing in a group session like this. It’s fun, and I enjoy watching how other photographers work and how they interact with their subjects. What lens are they using? What are they getting from that angle? On the first day of Inspire Boston, Matt Grazier led the shoot. He had met our “model” on the T in Boston. You can read that story here. Here are some of my favorite photos from the shoot:
I love the B-movie quality of this first photo!
Holly is pretty amazing, right? A bunch of other local vendors donated their time and services to help make this shoot happen, and I would be remiss if I did not give them their shout-out. So, thanks to Joanne of Joya Beauty for Holly’s amazing make-up! I totally wish I could pull that off. Thanks to Marie Galvin of Galvinized Hats for the headpiece Holly is wearing in these photos. Thanks to Faxon Green for their gorgeous flowers. And thanks to Beth at The White Dress By The Shore for Holly’s hot ensemble.
I am going to try to post more photos from the conference in the next couple of days. Until then, enjoy this wonderful weather before it starts to rain this weekend!
